The Goblet works for her, because it's close to all the people she knew before being a Warrior of Light, so in some ways, it represents and enables moments of reprieve and an escape from heroics when she needs downtime, more than it is a calling Ul'dah home.

Even A'zimzizi isn't necessarily close with Ul'dah, and it's more than just the fact that she feels the wider realm of Thanalan is the closest thing she has to a homeland, since she spent a lot of time after Cartenau recovering amongst a Miqo'te community in Southern Thanalan. 🔽

When she first became a adventurer, Ul'dah was meant to be a new start for her, and she'd stuck it out through some serious low points and traumas in her life while calling it home and attempting to find somewhere she felt like she belonged, so the betrayal of the Banquet really marred it for her. 🔽

Lkhagvasuren still goes back to Thanalan regularly due to her responsibilities with the Lemures, her old connections with the Adventurers Guild, and the fact that A'zimzizi ended up buying a house in the Goblet, but there's very much a sense of connection that is severed afterward, that never heals🔽
