god, getting turtle scutes in minecraft is so annoying... it would make much more sense if you could just kill turtles and have a small chance of them dropping one, but since they're endangered irl you have to go through the whole process of breeding them, waiting an hour for the eggs to hatch […]

Pigeons in holes. Here there are n = 10 pigeons in m = 9 holes. Since 10 is greater than 9, the pigeonhole principle says that at least one hole has more than one pigeon. (The top left hole has 2 pigeons.)
