I (along with a bunch of other people) make Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop and DFHack.

It would be cool if you could play Spy Cards with other people online.

because 37+37+37 = 111

@ben.lubar.me.ap.brid.gyOct 12, 2026, 3:02 AM

000/(0+0+0) = 37 because if you put literally any other digit in there it works

either that post was generated by a markov chain or I've found a new and terrifying style of conspiracy theory that only _appears_ to be generated by a markov chain

excuse me did you just say that the Food and Drug Administration and the World Health Organization ban children from using internet-connected devices in public _what_

i don't care about your money issue. i care that people don't understand why it's not anyone's issue but the purchasers. fact checking. your point of sale is your card. it's regulated so that in this instance, for example. a credit card (not anonymous cards) or debit card(not all) are have high priced features. they look at the sale price of any thing bought. the feature is a watch list working for your money. so when the sale drops, in a time frame the banks allow for cooling off business to business for consumer retail products purchases to full the shelves are calculated. if the store accounts aren't updated globally (24hours, 365 days/year, 100% online) and their money is not on the books. the bank pulls the lose for you. and credits the lose as consumer spending return on sale.

don't ask anyone. look at the bank cards feature's.

if the bank won't honor it, it just as similar as the products sale price on public display (including any regulated checks done because it harmed someone already) was different at the time of sale( the managers contractual responsibility to contract out, for someone else's benefit) for money.

that's why children can never own a bank account until 16 years of age. hence why, public appearances of underage people who have internet access is illegal when not on a child lock and monitor.

which is why schools do not want you child to bring a phone to school.

people who fail to read the consumer spending agreements and report fraud or suspicious communication or the online accessible device installed at home for public access to their countries regulatory bodies overseeing FDA or WHO and even FCC checks etc, do no good for you, or me and for that matter any human with a brain (we all are on the same spectrum)

there are 87,718 free games on Steam which means this jabroni added every single free game on Steam to their account and now they're wondering why Steam runs slowly

@ben.lubar.me.ap.brid.gyOct 11, 2026, 11:07 PM

guy with eighty thousand games in Steam: "why is it using a lot of memory?"

I'm running this steam normally with 52,963 total games (many free or limited/learning and a lot of other stuff), and my secondary steam in sandboxie plus with 32,765 total games (many free or limited/learning and a lot of other stuff). For me, there is no escape from this VRAM usage other than watch steam barely work if hardware acceleration is disabled, which then puts too much load on cpu. Right now this steam is using 510 meg vram and the other 404, and I just restarted both of the "above normal" webhelpers that handle that. Before the restart it was more like 900 VRAM used on this one and 500 on my alt. I agree that 2gig is very abnormal and I have never seen that much used on either account. As for small mode, well, Google AI says:

No, Steam's Small Mode does not meaningfully reduce VRAM (video RAM) usage.

VRAM Impact: Small mode primarily changes the library layout to a compact, text-based list rather than rendering heavy store banners and rich graphics, saving very little VRAM (typically around 20 MB, which has no practical effect on gaming performance).

do you think bigots ever look at other bigots' posts and go "wow I'm glad I'm not that pathetic"

Blast Hardcheese:
So far all I'm seeing is people with very strong opinions, enough to start several threads per week, but also somehow unable to express those opinions.

Just people tilting at the "woke" windmill.

Warframe, a game that starts with a quest called Awakening:

Some hypothetical person who played for ten thousand hours: Hang on is this game about being awake

Requiem:
And this just proves our point. It doesn't matter what we say. It doesn't matter how civil we are being. It always becomes an attack on us. We simply don't want politics in our games, that's all we say and you all go "WHAT POLITICS?! YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING WE DO?! THEN YOU MUST BE A BIGOT OR A PHOBE!" This behavior is literally killing the game. It actively makes me not want to be a part of this community. And it does the same thing to every other normal gamer. They see this and they get exhausted by it. It often shows that we have to walk on shards of glass or we get punished for it. Chasing out the majority will literally kill this game.

hey non warframe players read what this person wrote does this sound crazy (they are describing a real thing in the game)

Ben Lubar:
what does "earning" microtransactions mean? do you mean in-game items?

Jordeideichei_AStrolomeiseaus:
ya, like war frame right now , if you fly over to deimos and talk to mother and run some bounties for mother tokens then talk talk to daughter you can get the halloween items

should I report this to the LLVM people I don't know how to do that or whether it'd even be useful to do so
