@amphobius.ieI don't necessarily disagree that there's things I'd like to see changed (I think the tyre change rule needs to be 1 competitive pit stop during the race) but I'd rather see open pits in the US under caution to see more gambles rather than the opportunity to put everyone on the same strategy
@amphobius.ieI think it's worth remembering there is a small period where F1 did try closed pits under safety car, and then Lewis Hamilton crashed in the pitlane, and then crashgate happened and I think it soured everyone on the idea in general
