i admire the dissonance between the overarching theme of saving your wife and child and the narrative structure of the game as a monsterfucking european sex tour

have we ever had a finer moment for bisexuals with no self preservation instincts

like you guys go have fun being soda

rewatching the evangelion flashback ep it amuses me that it's the rare franchise to get away with the "aww this maniac who tried destroying the world is finally happy with his perfect dead wife" trope, not because gendo's redeemed but because there's a non-zero chance yui was ALSO a goddamn lunatic

I’m at the Pizza Hut. I’m at the house of leaves. I’m at the combi s n e a v t a i e o l n fo esuoh & tuh azzip

I WANT TO PLAY A GAME

i really skirt around that in early convos! even with people who pass the vibe check i’m not super eager to put that out there immediately

on top of the myriad other vibe checks of online dating i think an unusual but surefire one in my case is “does this person need to know what my job is”

JOIN ME, SHINJI TELL YOUR DAD ON MEEEEEE

there's not a lot i can think of that i added to my cultural cache between covid and now that dramatically changes how i watch NGE but this is probably the funniest

like idk if it's perfect, it's been some time since i watched it, but maybe it was a bit ahead of the curve in terms of deconstructing how materially cataclysmic the implications of reviving a sleeping narrative actually are. very "what year is this"

on the other hand i remember liking 3.33 at the time (to the point where i'm surprised that it's apparently the most divisive of the batch) for reasons besides the fact that it turns the gayest arc in the series into a homosexual tactical nuke

maybe i'll try to distress the roof & i have to get a number somewhere on the front (my best shot is probably that little triangle window over the door) but honestly it's a relief that most of the real design work will be inside. no 9

just remembered the video's gonna be in black and white so i don't actually have to worry too much about painting. everything's comin up delaney

you may have noticed that animation has never been more in-demand & in the zeitgeist and yet, seemingly, never have media conglomerates been less willing to produce it. you may also notice these guys get multimillion dollar severance packages after they gut a studio. there is probably no connection

that was my line of thought so i think you’ve convinced me to stay with it but still! weird!

see the site they linked to does exist on google search but it's functionally useless. what is the copyright being infringed across 25 entire minutes. what exactly am i supposed to think clicking "appeal" will do on a site that isn't youtube

wood, too, can be a burger analogy
