Bonnie Prince Charles wrote in one, too, as a child (1958): "Dear Sirs, No it isn’t a bit – not the least little bit like me. So jolly well stow it! See! Charles" It was on the actual stationary in use in Buckingham Palace back then, too, which lends credibility 😄

I just missed this one…! I began collecting at Super Special 67 (I wanted the Parents vs Kids issue, but it’d already sold out). I did eventually find a copy, but I think this would’ve been an awesome introduction to the magazine!

Your outfit is an absolute delight. 😭😭😭 On you, it’s the most perfect thing I’ve seen in ages. And I don’t mean that in a weird way, although it’s a decidedly weird thing to say. It’s just like… iconic, is the only word that comes to mind. Literally iconic.

This book is making me feel ill, but in 1954 these comic books were heavily restricted due to their gruesome content, ostensibly marketed towards children.
I dunno. I think this was supposed to attract an adult audience.
I’m hoping I can get through it. It’s scarier than expected.
