Well yeah I kinda question where this would fit into the established continuity, but more out of bemusement. Gathering by the visuals though this looks to be Time war :p

Oh frell yeah!

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 5, 2026, 3:39 PM

I look at it this way, even if we impeach Trump we still have Vance and the rest of this clown show to deal with. Careful, strategic policies may be for the best in the long run. Impeaching Trump is still a short term solution sadly, it will not solve the problem on its own.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 5, 2026, 3:39 PM

I dunno, I kind of agree with him a little but not because I'm opposed to a Trump impeachment. Remember we still have a huge MAGA influence dismantle and passing reforms first may not be entirely a bad idea before even talking about impeachment.

I have an extremely oddball thing that scared me as a kid, the "wet paint" song from sesame street.
The boat scene in Willy wonka? The Child catcher? The wicked witch? Freddy Kruger? The chestburster?
Nope! Even got though the OG robocop at 9.
But this? Yeah...

It cant happen fast enough, the human race needs to go... its proven to be a failure as a species.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 5, 2026, 1:00 PM

The human race was a mistake...

Hey I feel you dude, no worries.

And look I understand the hate for GenAI, but LLM's themselves as a concept can be salvaged as its built on technology that has existed long before GenAI was a thing. We had the building blocks for LLM's for years.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 3, 2026, 7:00 PM

Yes but it doesn't have to be this way, I mean machine learning has a similar need for external data yet many don't raise red flags as machine learning AI models are ethically trained and doesn't have the datacenter issue.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 3, 2026, 4:28 PM

Still LLM's are nothing new, it's the training and execution that matters and not the underlying tech. I will not deny the harm of GenAI and how it's trained, but the concept of LLM's have been around for a while and it's a shame the current models are what they are.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 3, 2026, 3:38 PM

Well no as LLM's are just the basis of GenAI, not the whole of the technologies. LLM's as a concept predates GenAI, I mean predictive text on mobile phones are LLM's

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 3, 2026, 3:10 AM

I dunno, I have been to square dances and they can be great at teaching fighting techniques. Here lemmie demonstrate: Swing your partner do-si-do, now roundhouse kick and a quick head blow!

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 10:47 PM

Well this claim somewhat tracks as some of the open weight models are going this route. Deepseek or Qwen for example are surprisingly lightweight as you don't need datacenters or high end hardware to run them and is why China is ahead in AI development.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 10:37 PM

To quote myself: AI is a tool, just not a very good one. It's like using a sledgehammer to tighten a bolt.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 10:29 PM

Well granted I personally think the underlying tech of GenAI is not the issue, one can still see merit of the tech without being pro GenAI or an AI bro. Then again nuance is key, and yeah AI bro's have zero nuance.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 9:21 PM

Yes certainly can live without GenAI, sure I won't deny I found it sort of useful sometimes in my workflow but not enough to keep the data centers running.

@madmanrb.bsky.socialOct 2, 2026, 9:14 PM

In fact most of the base technologies of GenAI I don't have a beef with, it's all a matter of how they are trained and the resources they take is where my issue is. This is the only reason why I support localized open weight models, wont solve all the issues with GenAI but it's a start.
