Use it to find and read about events around the globe or in your area.

We've got some sweet updates for beacon posts. Image uploads now work without having to post to Bluesky, and we've raised the upload limit up to 10. We've also increased the character limit for posts up to 2000, and added support for Markdown with the new @markpub.at lexicon.

You can now import check-ins from Foursquare/Swarm, Google, Yelp and various other geo formats. A lot of work went into making sure imports go smoothly, but would love your help testing this beta feature across all formats. You'll find this under Settings -> Import Data

Ah good call. I noticed you have to contact them for a csv export. Let me see if I can get an example for what their data looks like.

Happy to report we're almost wrapped on an importer for various check-in/map services. Main ones will be: - Swarm/Foursquare - Google Maps/Timeline - Yelp - Day One - GeoJSON Anything else we should add?

We’ve got some cool new features landing in today’s BB update. We’ve added drafts to make it easier to check-in later so you can stay in the moment. We’re also adding our first world layer for @brickster.at. This layer allows you to post brickster creations to the map and view them in AR.

Check this post for good info on porting those over. The memories feature uses the location of an old image to create a post from the past. You'll find it under the Use Photo option in the quick menu.

We’re working on a few import options from other services. What platform are you importing from? For adding past check-ins, you can use the memories feature which lets you add beacons with past dates.
