On one hand I’m skeptical of the allegations against Chris because of how they were presented and Kamikaze Shortbus’s history which is why I don’t take her as reliable, but I’ll wait and see if he’s guilty On the other hand some of yall Oney Fans are defending the age gap and outing yourselves 😭

I like Chris and DingDong & Julian respectively and have followed them for a good four years. I feel like they definitely could have settled their personal grievances privately and I don’t think DD&J or Chris should be antagonized in this case. DD&J are valid to be concerned about the fans fs though

We’re specifically talking about their grievances with Chris in particular. Them being concerned for their safety is valid, plus the Oney fans I was criticizing are the ones you’re talking about

I like Chris but I don’t blame those who don’t like him for past shit he did like his friendship with Shadman (he doesn’t associate with him now though, and according to Cory they never liked his shit with real kids). DingDong and Julian have said slurs along with Chris though which is hypocritical

It’s hard to gather my full thoughts because of Blueskys character limit but this situation isn’t as black and white as people are saying regardless of what side they’re on

On one hand I think DingDong and Julian should have handled this privately and some of the stuff they said has contradictions and they need help with mental health. But at the same time Oneyplays fans are desperate to turn them into lolcows and being parasocial edgelords

The KIDS act fucking sucks and shows once again how little politicians care about the feelings of the actual people but I’ve seen so many terrible internet laws come and by only for them to rarely be enforced and thus nothing really happening to the point where I’m desensitized

If you like these movies, that’s perfectly fine, I won’t hold that against you, but it’s gonna be a very uphill battle for you if you want to convince me these movies aren’t cashgrabs

His wording was pretty mean and definitely could have been worded better but that doesn’t really change how these movies only exist for money at the end of the day, I hate using the word “slop” as it’s been very overused but that word really applies to these movies (imo at least)
