The sheer noise and power of a track like "The End of Forgetting" by Swans makes me deeply regret not having gone to see them on tour last year like, this must've been insane to actually have been there for.

Started slow and mellow last week, finishing off my Arab Strap deep dive, throwing in some Smog and landing on Slowdive, then the new live Swans album dropped. Then was some indie/emo stuff spurred by my need to hear the new As Cities Burn again. AOTY for me (tho that Swans one is also right there)
