"these researchers published a paper on something that literally any of us could have told you 🙄" ok well my supervisors wont let me write something in my thesis unless I can back it up with a citation so maybe it's a good thing that they're amplifying your voice to the scientific community in a way that prevents people from writing off your experiences as annecdotal evidence
they did the research in the first place because they believed you and wanted to tell people about it. they are not our enemies.

people always go "Instead of spending all that time on a study they could have just listened to us when we said these thing happen"

they did listen, that's how studies work, they asked people about their experiences and put all the data together in a nice package that can be cited

The moral of this story is: when hiring software devs you need to force them to make a Sega Saturn emulator.

I’ve not had this specifically though I have ran into nsfw blogs of mutuals before and my usual response usually ranges from “yeah that is basically what I expected from you” to “wait that was your sfw account?”

"rainbow capitalism isn't a movement but it sure is a fucking canary"

Screenshot from Tumblr:
First, Tumblr user stopsignsworstenemy says, "i was going to do a rant about this before seeing this tweet but imma just leave this here" and shares a Bluesky screenshot from Sam (ABeardedPanda) which reads:
I have to say this leftist tendency to believe that if anyone profited anywhere from something it becomes inherently morally wrong is the dumbest shit in the world and is just arguing that perfect is the enemy of better.

Bluesky user Starfish Who Can't Thin... quote-skeets and adds:
Rainbow capitalism was good because the alternative we got wasn't rainbow socialism but "the guy who runs around being physically violent until Target removes all the gay stuff wins."

Tumblr user arrows-for-pens "peer reviews" and quotes hashtags from Tumblr user @runawaymarbles:
#been saying for years #rainbow capitalism isn't a movement but it sure is a fucking canary

Especially since Diner 2 already resembles in function the Cafe seating mechanics where you can put two recruits to talk to each other and get some dialogue, though is more elaborate and interesting

@hexihertzgameart.bsky.social Oct 12, 2026, 8:27 AM

My guess is that this might be a Diner 2 style Break Time segment with Queen and another character (most likely Pink) I have a suspicion given some of the other graphics and concept art for CH6 that we’re going to get a bunch of those as fanservice to cap off the fun portion of the game

OC-tober day 9: Decora (Robin 🪩)

#oc-tober #ocsky #decora #デコラ #genderqueer

OC-tober day 9 featuring Robin for the prompt “Decora”

Decora (デコラ) is a style originating in Harujuku, Japan. Characteristics include layered accessories, bright colors (typically rainbow), face stickers, toys, layered socks, playfulness, non conformity, and rejection of high fashion.

While most decora follows a rainbow color palette, Robins outfit uses colors from the genderqueer flag, as he is a genderqueer man and uses he/him, but doesn’t mind she/her, using she/her typically at his job as a club dancer. He prefers feminine terms to refer to himself.

Robin has a dark tanned complexion, brown eyes, and a purple wig with bangs covering his left eye. He is wearing green eyeshadow on his top lid, and purple eyeshadow on his bottom lid. He has heavy mascara and accented winged eyeliner on both the bottom and top lids. He has an assortment of heart, star, and sparkle shapes stickers under his right eye, in the genderqueer color palette, along with a purple bandaid across the bridge of his nose. His nails are painted to have the genderqueer flag with the middle 3 nails, and his pinky and thumb painted black. He has several hair clips over his bang inclusing a puffball clip with genderqueer colors, a bright green clip, a big green heart shaped clip with a smaller Purple Heart clip under it, a genderqueer clip with purple and green stars and a white heart in the middle, a white bow clip, and a strawberry clip. He has a giant lavender bow with a giant star in the middle on the right side of his head. He is wearing several rings, with the one on his pointer having a lavender heart, the one on the middle having an emerald, his index finger having a plain gold ring, and his pinky having a circular pink ruby ring. He is wearing a puffysleeved, muted pink shirt under a blue cami that says “PRETTY PRINCESS” in glitter, over a striped genderqueer long sleeve. He has waist beads with genderqueer colors, a tutu with genderqueer colors, and a large purple bag to his side.
