Some folks have asked about my free mini Donut print at nycc & how they want to pick up multiple for friends. I’m trying to keep it to one a person so if you need more I cannot stress enough how easy it is to butter me up. Dark chocolate, sugar free Red Bull, weed gummies… I am SO easily swayed

This is my favorite little bit from inking all day

6- then some white highlights and hand lettering with a black pen. Done. Easy peasy. Also this is why they cost more now. Sorry not sorry?

4- I took a couple cheap markers and used a dark brown along the gold edges. Before it dried I took a mustardy yellow color and pulled it across the gold. It gave it some warmth. 5- little speck of dark brown pen along the edges to define the edges and cover up and paint fuckups along the border. 🧵

3- I took a turquoise color and outlined the sticker directly on the sticker paper! I then just used the tip of my finger to pull the color onto the sticker itself. The smudgy unevenness really works for the patina whatever I was going for 🧵…

If you want to know the process on them, it was a super simple little detail to make. I’ll show you! 1- I did a dark olive green paint line around the edge of the sticker. 2- gold paint marker inside that. It ended up needing two coats. 🧵…

I made a mock Mucha print for NYCC and all 15 had a misprint because I’m a dipshit who forgot to delete a sketch layer. Instead of chucking them I spent over an hour painting little labels to cover it up. Went in and did gold and green details on all of them too!
