I'm literally keeping certain issues alive on our GHI as honey pots for these things for no other reason than it helps distract shit like openclaw bots and the like from getting in the way.

I've seen too many (attempted) contributors that treat this like it's an instant win button or something as of late.

Sometimes it's worse than that. Sometimes it's you're performing a code review that the person is feeding back through the LLM with literally zero understanding of the implications of the review or what they're changing. And it shows very quickly.

In the most charitable case, LLMs can take boring parts of coding out of the process. That still requires actual engineering that (spoilers) does not save you much time. "Claude fix the bug plan mode make no mistakes or go2jail" is not that.

We have genuinely considered expanding our use of an AGENTS file that outright tells LLMs they're not welcome without being in a prior authorization file somewhere to the SL Viewer due to various low quality slop PRs we get. Some don't even include code, just a plan file with a BTC address.
