Until it is
As he told this story another friend chimed in to say that she had that exact experience, signed the forms on her way to the helicopter. I think the rules have changed to prevent that now, and we’ve signed up… at $150 a year it is not a big expense.
We live in a town with a hospital that is the regional medical center, but for serious trauma they get helicoptered to Portland. Life Flight comes in multiple times a week. A friend is a retired paramedic who told me about people being signed up on the gurney waiting for the helicopter…
I’m an old man but pretty sure that most of my younger woman relatives would not find her relatable… they do not put up with fools.
I’m visiting NYC this week and the Alina Bonsell ads on Taxi TV creeped me out. “How’s a girl to buy shoes???”
I’ve done it once to view the active lava flows of Kilauea, it was the experience of a lifetime but I’m not going to make a habit of it!
I just signed up for Life Flight, I have friends who were signed up as the gurney was being rolled out to the pad… hope I never have to take that ride!
Ack! Gom Jabar
A Gam Jabar!!!
We are in NYC right now, from the 7th floor of the Whitney I see a sailboat race setting up
Maybe good for intimidation?
Oh yeah! That is not 7 mm thick, 0.7 mm makes sense
I’m puzzled… 7 mm is more than a quarter of an inch and would be hard to bend. My old fencing foils are about that thick near the guard and are only flexible out near the other end where they are half that thickness
Maybe this long blade in one hand and the hat pin in the other? Dual wielding?
He was predicting she would beat his record for leaving quickly
Agreed, I was just thinking about how women used to fend off creeps using a hat pin! This looks bigger and sharper…
She didn’t even last past featuring in the Cold Open on SNL… since she asked for Scarlett Johansson I’m thinking it would be fun to have Melissa McCarthy in a long blonde wig and a double breasted blue jacket :-)
Well that sure would be more effective than a hat pin! The snake ring seems like an odd piece of jewelry for a man to wear, so I’m visualizing a young woman with the inclinations towards vengeance of an Arya Stark…
YES!
