Did the Russians interfere in Brexit?
Hmm? π§
Imposter syndrome is when you forget Mark Francois (Spud-u-Hate) Gavin Williamson (a lifetime collection of blunders with the teeth of a starved horse) Priti Patel (the Shetland Pony of the Apocalypse) and Desmond Swayne (the reanimated corpse of Alvin Stardust) are still members of parliament.
Private Eye Ironymeter "at critical mass" as Farage accuses Burnham of lying about Brexit.
Negotiate a new UK-EU Customs Union. Re-join the single market. Boost our economy. We need to tear down the Brexit barriers harming British businesses.
I notice the right wing extremist media getting frantic about talk of rejoining the EU - but all they can counter with is 'project fear' imaginings about how bad it would be to be back in. I've not seen any of them point to a single Brexit benefit that we would lose. π€

We have a date. Now it's up to the Prime Minister to go big or go home. Let's go for EU membership.
'cos Putin told him
From The Archives #492 That time in October 2019 when Farage got all his Brexit Party MEPs to vote against EU plans to tackle Russian propaganda. 7 years later, almost to the day, he accuses Burnham of lying that there was Russian interference in Brexit...
So it's official! π₯ Brexit was simply the first salvo in a Putin-backed attack upon the West. The same battle is now being fought throughout Europe. If the UK turns its back on Brexit and rejoins the EU, it will be seen as a victory for the whole of Europe against Putin and the rise of fascism.
There's PLENTIFUL evidence that Russia interfered in the EU referendum. Most sensible people on both sides accept that as a fact. If Farage can counter this obvious truth then he should present his case to us all rather than grandstanding and lazily calling Burnham a "liar".
I'm grateful to Justin Webb on Radio 4 this morning for letting Zia Yusuf repeatedly blame all the problems of the NHS on asylum seekers without challenge, as if it is an accepted fact.
Gentle reminder: Brexit isnβt shit just because the Russians backed it. Itβs shit, and thatβs why the Russians backed it.
Vladimir Putin wants a divided Europe to weaken us. We cannot let him win. For the sake of our own security, we need to rejoin the EU.
So it's official now.
