You can take a ripened fruit (it has to be pretty wrinkly), open it, clean the pulp from the hard black seeds, let them dry, and then keep them in an envelope! The fruit is already done where we are, so another option is taking cuttings. Just be sparing since the plant is a food source for insects!

I'm using Super Sculpey! As a heads up since it's slightly translucent it tends to "plaque" when baked (basically, it gets weird little imperfections under the surface) but since I'm intending to paint these I'm not worried. Just something to keep in mind!

This is awesome, thank you!! I do think I'll probably have to start sculpting them in detachable pieces eventually, but I also want to get a sense for how far I can go before that point, so I have some research to do. I really appreciate it!
