I am trying to understand how HSI is investigating a sitting congressperson. Seems like the wrong agency at best. And a "probe" that involves a 5 AM raid on her personal home? Sounds like a "witch hunt"

I've never understood why families who want prayer in their lives aren't praying together before they leave for school etc. Like, why the obssession with prayer in school when it should be part of the family unit. I know the answer is control & indoctrination but prayer is a family responsibility.

I worked with children, youth and adults on the streets for yeeears in Canada. You may just not be aware of the level of trafficking and poverty that exists. Worse or better then Mexico, well, that's irrelevant, imo.

Canada has many dirt poor and homeless/unhoused ppl that we shit on.

Volunteering really helps. There are amazing ppl out there doing great things. This week we dropped food boxes off at shelters and our local hospice to help ensure many ppl will have a full Thanksgiving meal Monday. We can do good while getting off sm & being around good ppl.

I wanted to like this remake. I did not. It's lost everything that made the book (& movie) so important. If you have to change the "ending" (not ending) and invite an Institute type tie in to justify her actions, then perhaps you've gone off the rails.
