Follow the money, the more inmates the more profit. Another reason we are #1 among independent democracies incarcerations worldwide not to mention the US has the largest prison population in the world.

I'm not washing anything. The California Guard deployment and later statements can reasonably be seen as provocative. Trump's past statements may support an argument for motive. My point is that interpretation and patterns are not the same as proving intent in a specific case.

I am not defending him. Accuracy still matters. I listened to the full passage, and while it was the usual confused and inflammatory rhetoric, I did not hear a direct call for Iran to destroy American cities. We should apply the same standard of evidence to everyone.
