I believe that every difficulty in our lives is given to us so that we may live through it and change because of that experience. Every trial makes us stronger. I will either overcome the illness or adapt to it. In any case, it will not break me.

That would mean a lifetime of medication. Still, it’s good that it’s not a tumor, so I’m grateful for that at least. But if it turns out to be an infection affecting the entire nervous system—and high-quality antibiotics can cure it—I’ll genuinely start believing in magic 🌟

The MRI results weren't good; the doctor's report suggests it looks like multiple sclerosis. I still need to rule out mimics—like an infection, for instance. If those tests come back negative, I’ll head to Lviv to have a sample taken from my spinal cord and confirm the MS diagnosis.

I wish you the strength to fight this disease mentally. So much depends on our mindset. Hang in there. And I will hope that I don't have multiple sclerosis.

Fortunately, I can take it in pill form; I rarely experience stomach issues, and even when I do, it’s manageable.

I had my ferritin levels checked for the third time, and the result was 31. So, it is rising after all. I’m starting to doubt that iron is the root cause, though, because I’m not feeling any better—and I’ve been taking supplements throughout the spring and summer.

The doctor mentioned it to me, too. But I read up on the symptoms, and I don't think that's what it is—though I can't say for sure.

In a couple of days, I’m going to get an MRI of my head, neck, and spine. Wish me luck—I don’t want it to be a serious illness, but I do want answers. I’m truly exhausted 😔

I saw a neurologist, and they ordered an MRI. I also consulted an ophthalmologist, who said my eyes are fine—it’s a neurological issue. I’ve also been tested for myasthenia gravis and am waiting for the results.

For instance, when I’m in a store, I have to blink a few times just to focus on a single price tag. And when I walk down stairs, it feels like I’m on a ship—the steps below seem to spread apart, and I lack a steady step.

Two months ago, another symptom appeared: double vision. I’ve been crying. Sometimes when I draw, the image looks very distorted. When I look down and to the left, the image always doubles. When I look straight ahead, it might double at first but then stabilize. Still, it’s hard to focus my gaze.
