So I’m shy now As I always have been but for a brief time when I felt the most free. Anyway tis all well and good. We will overcome and suchness

When I say because of my name I mean it: your name is (equivalent of Jennifer/ Megan/ Bob/ John or something) therefore you must be the same person as (name). That sounds obviously ridiculous but thousands of people turned on me until I deleted my accounts and left the internet

Part of the reason why I don’t follow anyone because the last time I got close to being self sufficient my “mutuals” turned on me when a more popular account accused me of all sorts of shit because of my first name! It was insane and that person was actively having an episode but it didn’t matter

I’m more just rambling because that is what I do but it again impresses upon me how success doesn’t happen in a vacuum it very much is tied to community and collaboration— no one rises in isolation It’s something I’ve long since struggled with but cannot seem to overcome.

Anyway I don’t have a lot of extra cash but I managed to score some credit so I’m kind of gambling on the future success with a bit of present “capital” so to speak though I prefer not to spend money I haven’t yet made Anyway! The majority of my sales come from social media which kinda sucks because I don’t have a huge following (basically my fault since I’m annoying and don’t follow anyone which reflects poorly on me) but hopefully the more I list on Etsy the more eyes I get or more likely people are to buy idk
