omg
here's a portia for mind cleansing after
it's just less obvious because of how they talk about them. less overtly disgustingly hateful, more cloyingly paternalistic and rapey.
in particular US elite east coast transphobia from nominally centre-left sources (like the New York Times) has a lot of commonality with UK gender critical rhetoric. This is somewhat separate from the Republican variety, but their scaremongering about trans kids definitely includes transmasc kids.
no he's actually right. the panic over sports is trans women. the panic over trans kids is very frequently about trans boys. someone else already linked abigail shrier's irreversible damage book, and it's emblematic of that side of the anti-trans push.
yeah that's a good one
I have since privately received information that the lack of credit was in bad faith, and that this was a blatant and intentional ripoff. I'm not the only one disheartened by the lack of due credit.
oh that fucking sucks. I wonder what the justification for that was, and what the real reason was.
I'm seeing if I can get some intel from family and friends on the island how likely this actually is.
also they're the YIMBY/affordable housing party!
they're quite good! sensible social democrats for the most part. I remember their leader a few years back, Peter Bevan-Baker being very well liked, they have been official opposition in the province (the largest non govt party) before and current leader seems good too
What I would give to sleep like a little cat who cannot even fit the concept of university administration in her head
NDAed for a work project froma couple years back unfortunately!
yeah I am familiar with NodeRED, regrettably.
and my first programming language which was also tied to a visual programming environment, fixed this issue. in fact on big reason WHY it was a real programming language you could write was so I could make the runtime testable without instrumenting and automating the UI
yep. unreal has a similar issue.
why do you subscribe to the torment nexus? I mean I guess comedy reasons are acceptable
don't make me get the article about the lesbian lions with manes
yeah the thing i am imagining is part llm coding harness, part ui toolkit and transpiler, part The Young Lady's Illustrated Primer
more like, llm writes code (or some IR that's transpiled but regardless), user can see code, IR if that exists, or the user-oriented logical easier to understand representation derived from it deterministically. combined with other improvements to workflow and education...
