I'm looking to make art! Anyone need a pretty cover for one of your upcoming books/Anthologies/chapbooks/etc? I love working with indie authors and also with presses. Here are a few Science Fiction examples I've worked up recently. Either DM me here or contact me through addi.studio

And please RT!

Ooh, I hope mine comes soon!

Lightspeed has $10K to go to reach its Kickstarter goals and only 4 days left. Lightspeed published my first short story and has been a great home for my fiction over the years. They respect writers, pay professional rates, and run a tight ship. Please consider supporting!

Right?! Chris is such a good writer.

I love this story so I’m not surprised. I recommend it too. Give it a read if you haven’t yet.

100%. I am always happy to take a look at a contract (or a non-contract situation) and this willingness is pretty close to universal among writers in my experience. We won't give legal advice but we can say whether something is standard or would be a red flag for us, and we can point out resources.

Reminder that it is still Hispanic/Latine heritage month for a few more days (and for the rest of the month in Canada) so if you’re looking to read more fiction by Hispanic/Latine authors, I happen to be one. Here are the things I’ve published this year:

Back in April I spoke with the delightful JJ Pionke about writing while disabled, AI, retrofuturism, and even tea. We had a great time and laughed a lot. Sadly, JJ passed away last month. He will be missed. Our interview is out now, and I hope you'll listen.

This kickstarter still has a ways to go and just 6 days left on it. Let’s help get Lightspeed and Nightmare funded! Chip in if you can, share either way.

@bakkaphoenix.bsky.social will be there and they’ll have both of them for sale. I will also be bringing SWAG so you can get that from me for free. 🙂

I am asking folks to boost my link b/c of an upcoming 1-night hotel expense to attend a day of an out-of-town convention later this week 🙏🏻 While I am fortunate to be staying with a friend most days, I need to be closer to event space to avoid hefty rideshare $ -- www.gofundme.com/f/help-eva-s...

Thanks Eva!

We’ve been talking a lot about MRM the past couple of days so just a reminder that you can read the story I wouldn’t waive my moral rights to here: www.adventitious.net/stories/a-ga...
And as per the below quote it is eligible for awards this year. 🙂

Not autistic but introverted so I kinda feel this too. I’m planning to go but I already know I will need a lot of time away from the crowds to recharge.

I loved Jo. Even as a young straight girl you could say she was an early crush. I wanted to be her.

Totally. You reap what you sow.
