Its nearly dinner time here actually. I’m in same time zone as your son at moment (however, we in AZ will be ahead an hour when daylight savings kicks in next month, we in AZ don’t observe it)

Hey I’m here. (Still trying to process the bit about rupturing yourself on stage and awaiting the reveal of the footage)

The thing that stood out to me initially are the layered and aggressive guitars. Will have to dial in more to keys on next spin.

I loved ILTT and the the EP TLTR. I think they are still ascending as a band….the one thing they’re missing is a signature track/song to go viral. It’s always hard to pinpoint their best song on any particular album. But their albums as a whole keep improving.

Mine arrived yesterday….gave it one spin so far, I do like it a lot. Can’t wait to see them in a fairly intimate venue. What’s date of your show?

Gotcha!!!

… alas I won’t be going because the shows are mid week, and I already prioritized a trip down for TPT on the weekend.

With the massive success and a claim of the Rush tour, I imagine they will continue on for a few more years, so another chance is likely to roll around. Perhaps there’s even another chance this year… they seem to be zigzagging all over North America. Phoenix is an early December (days before TPT)….

More surround sound magic…

I’ve been let down a couple times by last minute cancellations, worst was Scorprions (wife is a huge fan) about 10 years ago, had whole weekend away planned, hotel, etc, found out Klaus Meine had laryngitis while walking up to arena with signs posted on locked doors.

Bas- “Three” means what? How many you also own? Or like? I’ve not yet gotten the gist of what people comment on when they reply with a # following someone’s “My9Albums” posts. Thanks!

I love when my musical worlds collide. Here’s a post from Harrison White, touring keyboardist with Leprous, who has announced his participation as musicial director for the stage adaptation of Steven Wilson’s “Hand.Cannot.Erase”. Seemingly in pre-production in Los Angeles.

Sadly no. Just got back from a fall break trip and it being mid-workweek just made it too improbable to shoehorn in. Saw the tourstop in Vegas (Nov 2024) and it was a mind-blowing night.

Dang. Sorry to hear that and hope you’re feeling better. My bass playing friend in Denver had tickets and said it was likely low sales that prompted the cancellation….not sure if that’s on good authority or just conjecture.

Not yet. I missed out on the initial pre-order. However, when I pre-ordered Peter Gabriel on Burning Shed I saw that it reappeared back in stock. So I added it to that purchase, but it’s not due to arrive till late November with Peter Gabriel.

Well shucks. 😔 They’ve been rather quiet on future tour news.

You should catch up with him now on social media…he takes himself rarher seriously now. 😉

Whoot!
