Los Angeles deserves a fighter.
This is reckless, dangerous, and unhinged. Four million Angelenos are not bargaining chips.
Trump suggests letting Iran 'take out' Los Angeles, San Diego during campaign rally
LA is HOT. But does it have to be this hot? Did you know shade from a single tree can drop temps by 20° or more? Yet working-class neighborhoods like South LA, East LA, and the Valley get the least tree coverage and bear the brunt of extreme heat. Let's finally cool things down for everyone.
This campaign is about rejecting the political establishment that isn’t delivering for Angelenos. I'm running for Mayor to make our government work for people, not corporations and powerful interests.
As mayor, I will fight back against Trump’s plan to gut a program that gives every LA child a strong start. I'll bring the full weight of the mayor's office to fight this cruel mandate and work with our school district to call for a joint lawsuit if needed to protect our families' rights.
Kids who grow up bilingual are prepared for the future. This isn't really about improving the quality of early education - it's part of a bigger campaign to target and destabilize immigrant families.
In 1998, Prop 227 targeted immigrant and working families, banned transitional bilingual education, and set back a generation of Angeleno kids. We cannot let that happen again. LAUSD serves 400,000+ students speaking more than 150 languages.
The Trump administration wants to impose an English-only mandate on Head Start. As a mother and an immigrant, I'm outraged - and LA has seen this playbook before.
SEIU 121 is a fierce advocate for our essential healthcare workers, and I'm honored to receive their endorsement.
Stay safe out there, LA. Dangerous, rabid super PACs are everywhere.
Nithya has consistently demonstrated support for writers and our issues and advocated for increased production in Los Angeles, with clear actions and policies. We are proud to support Nithya Raman for Los Angeles Mayor!
Big news! In the latest Berkeley/LA Times poll, we’ve surged ahead of Mayor Bass with an 11 point lead. This poll reflects the momentum we’re seeing on the ground. Angelenos are ready for change and want to see a City That Works.
Los Angeles ranked LAST among the 100 largest U.S. cities for housing affordability & homebuilding in Realtor’s 2026 Metro Report Card. This is a crisis that requires an urgent solution. Rent is too high, homeownership is out of reach for too many Angelenos, and the mayor has no plan to fix it.
Angelenos, I’m going to have to endorse @nithyaforthecity.bsky.social for mayor. (I know you’ve all been waiting.) Listening to how she wants to govern makes her such a no duh choice.
Tonight at midnight is the biggest fundraising deadline of our campaign! We have the opportunity to reject the status quo and build a city that works for every Angeleno, but only with your help. Click the link in my bio or and help us win!
We hit the road to ask Angelenos: "How do you feel about $100 million per year of YOUR taxpayer dollars being used to pay for the Convention Center expansion for the next THIRTY YEARS?"
We might not agree on everything, but we agree LA needs change and should be a better place to live. I sat down with Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group to talk about homelessness, housing, and public safety in LA. Looking forward to coming back in two years to ring that bell!
Details are still emerging, but we are grateful to all the firefighters, paramedics and emergency personnel responding to two extraordinarily difficult scenes. Tonight, all of Los Angeles is holding the Chatsworth community and our local news community close.
This is a heartbreaking night for Los Angeles. My heart is with the loved ones of those lost in Chatsworth, everyone injured, and those anxiously awaiting information about someone they love. I am also thinking of the journalists and news crews reporting while their own community awaits answers.
Former LA City Controller Laura Chick knows a thing or two about protecting taxpayer dollars, so I'm honored to have her in the fight with us.
