Even with 2 FTs, I'm happy to let the JP rise go. With Barnes playing tonight, plus European action for others this week, I didn't want to risk going early. Got enough funds if I move MGW down to Barnes/Tav and DCL to JP. Happy to keep Barry as a cheap "happy to start/happy to bench" 3rd FWD
I do remind myself that I've been in much worse positions before. But right now, the gap between 1.6m to 100k feels quite wide already and I look back to the Foden move in GW3 with a bit of regret and the WC team taking out Hall, not going for De Cuyper. Lots of the season left to turn things around
64 all out with no COV/NEW assets, pretty much confirmed a 4th straight π» I'm doing my best to keep positive, do feel it was a good GW, but I know the only differences between a good GW and a great GW was not owning De Cuyper + JoΓ£o Pedro and not hitting the Captaincy. Got some ground to make up now
Thank goodness for that, the amount of times Billy annoyed me because he always scored against Bristol City π All seriousness, congratulations to Billy on a top career, such a good goalscorer for any club π
That one on one at the end for Saka π£ Well done on the Β©οΈ Manzambi π °οΈ when Saka and Bruno blanked for others π
How the mighty have fallen π₯Ί π³π΄
Oi oi! @planetfplpod.bsky.social π
Also, dropping Palmer down allows me to move Barry to JP, whereas moving MGW down means I'll be ditching DCL instead (do like him v Man Utd H). Also got to keep an eye on price changes, might survive JP not rising tonight
Bus team for #FPL GW7:
2FTs, JoΓ£o Pedro was always the priority, just a matter of who makes way π€
I'm going to keep Rogers, just down to Palmer (though 2 assists and I'll be 48 when his contract expires π) or MGW. Tavernier was on my mind, but not 100% sure on Bournemouth right now. Barnes maybe?
Well at least this Walter Jelly scored today, unlike his younger Ipswich brother π
#ESFantasy π³π΄
Not the best game from both sides, 1-1 is a fair result π City responded well from going 1-0 down early (Karlan Grant once again π), Ballard did well to win the pen that Twine tucked away. Some decisions going against City too, but also wasteful at times. I'll take the draw π #BristolCity π©Άπ€
Confirmation of Helmersen's benching, happy that BjΓΈrkan starts as does Blomberg π

McNally played well v Palace, back ahead of schedule, ready to go according to Skubala Noah Eile is ill, hence McNally is in, maybe Eissat benched due to Romania duty over IB Tolaj has a niggle, doubt for Tuesday, likely back next weekend Williams felt something v Palace, aggrevated in training
Eissat benched. No Tolaj today, same with Joe Williams hence Randell is in
Wow, McNally starts, that's a nice suprise π Randell in for Williams, good to see De Keersmaecker earn his start π
Yeah, McNally, did think he wouldn't be rushed as City do have mid-week games. But if Skubala feels he's ready, let's give Luke a run out and see how that knee holds up π #BristolCity
Konsa starts, as does Havertz. A bit of a positive for Β©οΈ Saka π
Manzambi is a spicy punt in a week where captaincy is quite spread out πΆπ Manzambi looked impressive v Spurs, though I do wonder which Villa will turn up and how tight Brentford's defence will be to break down. I stayed on Saka, was out at Asda just before the deadline and left it in the end π
Stuck with Saka Β©οΈπ«‘
Rolling the FT to get JoΓ£o Pedro back next week, just got to ride this one out this week π
