Absolutely. I agree and I will. We also know from the rest of the transphobic moral panic that most people don’t actually read the report and these headlines will be thrown around as if they’re important for a long time. Which is why my first reaction was to question them!

You say “something” but there’s a massive over representation in Law, in medical fields, in academia, in engineering… …even in professional sport… …this bullshit is based on a really warped idea of what being neuro-spicy is.

This would have excluded someone I knew at Uni who went on to work on curing cancer after their postdoc. In case anyone thinks it’s about standards or the social utility of giving people a chance…

It’s based in eugenics. Some of the “honest” ones will even admit that that’s their aim.

I’m neurodivergent. I have a job. I have reasonable adjustments (which cost fuck all in the grand scheme of things). I pay taxes. I don’t get any benefits due to neurodivergence. I am *all* for people getting the benefits they need to survive because I’m not a monster.
