@botanybeck.bsky.socialI went to one of my favourite Welsh sites last Saturday and didn’t any grassland species, it was so dry. I put all these on iNat, the Garlic were just starting to come up, I was so excited as it was my first time of seeing them ☺️

@botanybeck.bsky.socialThank you Merisi, it was such a treat to see them! 😍
@botanybeck.bsky.socialA cheeky #fungi foray after work yielded ten waxcap species, one of them Garlic, new to me. My son’s first time of seeing red & pink waxcaps, he absolutely loved it!!! 🥰 🔁 from top left Scarlet, Ballerina, Honey, Blackening, Glutinous, Slimy, Parrot, Golden, Garlic & Snowy. #FungiFriends 🍄 📸
@botanybeck.bsky.socialIsn’t it weird! 🥰
@botanybeck.bsky.socialA new one for me today has a fab name, Waxcap Facepainter! ☺️
@botanybeck.bsky.socialCor, what a fabulous clump of them!!!
@botanybeck.bsky.socialA little late for #mushroommonday but I’m so excited to see this on a little foray after work! I think it’s the Waxcap Facepainter, Metarhizium marquandii. Growing on the gills of a Snowy Waxcap. #Fungi #fungifriends 🍄 📸
@botanybeck.bsky.socialLovely finds Jon, is that Bolete Mould, far left middle row and I love the Bolete with the red pores! 😍
@dunnjons.bsky.socialReposted by @botanybeck.bsky.socialWent out for a walk today with seeds and fruits in mind for forthcoming #WildflowerHour, but got badly distracted by fungi instead on a beechwood floor. Must do more of these wanders in the days and weeks to come.
