🚨 Israeli forces killed a boy in Jabaliya and wounded a pregnant woman when they opened fire on tents sheltering displaced Palestinians at the Shajaiya junction east of Gaza City on Sunday. 4 more Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a charging station in Al-Buraq, west of Khan Younis: Youssef Muhammad Abu Rizk, Abdul Hamid Jadallah, Osama Al-Faqawi and Muhammad Ramzi Hajjaj. At least eight Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire across Gaza City and Khan Younis, including six in Khan Younis and two at the Shajaiya junction. Israeli forces also blew up residential buildings in Shajaiya and Zeitoun, shelled Rafah and fired heavily toward tents housing displaced families in Mawasi, Khan Younis, as attacks continued across the besieged Gaza Strip. Drop Site’s Mohamed Ahmed filmed families fleeing near Shujaiya Intersection, east of Gaza City, after Israeli forces advanced the line to within 10 meters of Salah al-Din Street. Mohammed Obeid, 29, was wounded as Israeli forces advanced. “I was asleep and woke up to gunfire — it was like rain. I couldn't get up. I felt something hit my leg, like two bullets,” he said. Sara Al-Ramlawi described three years of repeated displacement, moving from one place to another every few months before arriving at Shujaiya, only to be forced out again. “Right now, we don't know where to go.” “We're not asking for a house. 🇵🇰 “A Coup Dissguised as Emergency": Pakistan suspends Imran Khan's party's provincial government President Asif Ali Zardari declared a state of emergency on Sunday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a northwestern province bordering Afghanistan and the only one governed by Khan's party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The order removed its chief minister and cabinet, and a federally appointed governor will run the province for an initial six months. Islamabad accuses the provincial government of failing to confront militant attacks. The move came a week into a PTI march on Islamabad demanding Khan's release. The army was authorized to deploy across the province, and phone and internet service was cut in the provincial capital, Peshawar, and in Swabi, according to local media. PTI says ousted Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has been detained. 🇸🇩 An airstrike on a gold mine on the Sudan-Egypt border killed at least 72 workers on Saturday, according to Emergency Lawyers, a Sudanese group documenting abuses in the war, which blamed Egypt's air force. Survivors told AFP a jet struck five times around 8 a.m. at Jabal al-Uqaydat, near the disputed Halayeb Triangle, and that many more may be trapped under rubble. The Sudan Doctors Network put the toll at 13 killed and 28 wounded. Egypt has not yet commented. It is the second deadly strike on the site this year after 23 workers were killed in June, when Egypt's military announced an operation against illegal mining. The country backs Sudan's army in its war with the genocidal UAE-sponsored militia RSF.
