I scraped off all the loose paint and rust on the roof rack then went over the whole thing with the wire brush attachment on my drill and now I'm very sore. Might throw myself in the clothes dryer and tumble around for 15 minutes with the steam setting.

I think some people are just afraid of change and catastrophize everything. Luckily with the internet it's difficult to spread these views and cause other worried strangers to join in and maybe even add to the catastrophizing
