Thanks! Star Spark looks like a lot of fun too. Love the 8-bit anime vibes. Wishlisted. :)
Making a comedy RPG where it's better to run away than to fight! Help IRA, Crossing Guard Robot 2nd class, save the day in Zombie Fun Run!
Some great scares. Excellent escalation as the game progresses - just when you think you might have gotten the hang of things, it'll introduce a new twist to the story or gameplay.
As a game dev, there's a lot of inspiration to be had here. Recommended!
From a survival horror perspective, you eventually get a handful of weapons, some melee, some ranged. Ammo & healing items are limited. Intentionally clunky but manageable combat. More monster types appear as you progress and there's a surprising number of well-done & interesting boss fights.
It looks nicer than any late 80's P&C game I can remember, while still nailing the aesthetic. The live-action FMV cutscenes are well done and support the story well (there's a focus on indie movie making). I didn't get stuck on the puzzles, but they are harder than the average Resident Evil game.
It's the 15th now so I can talk about Tenebris Somnia. Almost done and I'm guessing I'll be at about 6 hours when I finish - there are multiple endings so there's some replay value there. It's really good. Succeeds as both a late 80's style point & click adventure game and a survival horror game.
Thanks!
In Zombie Fun Run, different battles have different win conditions. Sometimes, you just need to build up enough momentum to run away...

"Do you think I don't want to? It's those Fire Emblem expansion passes, Marge! They won't let me. One quality campaign after another, each one fresher and more brilliant than the last. If they only stumbled once - just gave us thirty minutes to ourselves! But they won't! They won't let me live!"
GTA6 inventing the concept of having music in videogames.
How did it work without the CD drive that the Playstation games had?
I know, right! It's the worst.
Ooh, I really wanted to see that one. All for over-the-top action-horror from Korea.
That sounds bizarre. Shouldn't have any preferences if you're logged out.
Beats me. Could just be random.
Yesterday, literally sold 0 games on Steam. I get with older stuff, you don't sell much unless it's discounted, but I don't remember the last time I sold 0. Usually sell at least a handful.
Gah. Another AI translation of a classic game - Devil Summoner. Fighting for my life in the comments.
I played through the sequel, Soul Hackers, on the Saturn, despite not knowing much Japanese. Even wrote one of the earliest guides. I'd love a proper DS translation.
Looking good!
I've been convalescing and in my hopeful delerium I ended up pondering "what cool novelty mice did I miss out on?" May I introduce you to this ray of sunshine, this beautiful prize, the MOUSE-BURGER
