I have noticed in various offline circles — particularly media and political science — it is still considered rather inappropriate to acknowledge that the US President is evidently quite insane. It's not that these people don't *know* it; they clearly do. You just aren't supposed to *say* it. 🙃

Secret wars used to mean that we were attacking countries and not telling the public about them, like bombing Laos. Now it means that countries are attacking us and we are not telling the public about them, like the destruction of major US bases and equipment in the Persian Gulf.

During Trump‘s bizarre speech in Texas tonight, he got off on a baseball tangent — talking about the baseball players he golfed with, defending Pete Rose, and claiming he “only saw one 20-strikeout game.” Anybody wanna take the bet on whether he actually went to such a game? Or even a full game?
