Like something from the liminal spaces account
The รskekรคrr ship was discovered near Gothenburg (Sweden) in the 1930s, dating to the tenth century CE. Over its 60-70 year working life it had probably operated as a cargo vessel (knarr) over the North and Baltic Seas It is the only longship with a runic inscription: โfeohโ (โcattle / wealthโ)
Obligatory linguistic note: got rhymes with boat
Been a while since I've scored full marks on this

Today (October 9) is Hangul Day ํ๊ธ๋ in South Korea. One of only a very few official holidays that celebrate a writing system! To mark the day, I'm reposting a thread that originally appeared in April, 2024 over on the other site. I've made minimal edits, so apologies for any outdated references!
Started other side of the world
