Ja, det er ikke fordi mange af de ting der nu skal leveres “i går” ikke er blevet foreslået i god tid. At man ikke gik igang med dette i det mindste på lavere blus i 2014 er hovedrystende. At man så ikke åbnede slusserne 100% allerede i 2022 er vanvittigt. Nu står vi så og mangler næsten alt.

Som jeg ser det skal en værnepligtsstyrke i første omgang altid være en mobiliseringsstyrke uddannet til en lang række roller i krig. Derudover vil det være en glimrende platform for rekruttering til konstabler, befalingsmænd og officerer - præcis som før.

Jeg kan godt se hvor det kommer fra, men de kortsigtede mål skal opnås samtidigt med at man arbejder på de længere. Vi har før kunnet opbygge og vedligeholde en mobiliseringsstyrke, men der havde vi heller ikke en ambition på at opstille en brigade primært med fastansat personel.
