So I've been dealing with what I think to be mild food poisoning since yesterday. Called out of work and spent most of my day sleeping, but its been that mind-racy fever dream style sleep and I don't feel like I really slept well at all. Got some Dayquil and hydration and trying to ride this out.

sega i have work in the morning you cant do this to me You Know How Much I've Sacrificed

Don't worry guys this is a giant fake-out the "One More Thing" Club Chaos announcement is still coming, they're really getting us good right now, whew good one guys good one haha. ha

At this point its either they announce the next mainline game at the Game Awards in December or the 35th anniversary was kind of a dud. I do like that they take their time on mainline games now but atleast give us a logo or 30 second teaser of what's coming as an anniversary gift.

Gotta be careful with Klipy gifs sometimes. Oftentimes I'll think I've found the one I'm looking for, then post it in without watching the full thing especially if the convo is moving fast, and more often than not there's some last minute addition to it that changes the whole meaning of the gif

just straight up following all the principles of animation irl

Would be further along on current comms but I've had 5 workdays in a row with tomorrow being a ~6th~ before I finally get another day off to hopefully draw a bunch and make up for lost time.

Cartoon Network/ Adult Swim was my dream industry job if I ever got lucky and/or skilled enough to pursue such a job anywhere or pitch anything tbh. I've already increasingly been of the mindset over the years that shooting for indie groups and projects would be the move but now it's even moreso.

Such good friends~ lol (thanks so much!)

CSP being pressed to take even just /kissing/ off their asset store and FA being told that plus sized characters are considered adult should be a giant waving red flag to folks. Sex workers have /always/ been right to say these policies never stop with 1 type of content. They always wanna ban more.

Anyway if youve at any point ever thought that porn or even just """spicy""" art is easy street, i want you to take a cold hard look at the shit advertisers think is obscene and get back to me Furthermore, contact your govt representative, wherever you are, and advocate for protection of expression

I do entire get the reasoning why, and that it was absolutely the smartest move they could've made, but I'm still like "I still think its boring and predictable tho" about it, lol

horrible news. none of this will end well, very bleak times to be an animator. i'm going to continue championing and encouraging independent animators and groups like Glitch to lead the charge

Switch 2 really isn't a bad name (even though I wanted Super Nintendo Switch) but the main thing is that the mystery is gone now because we already know what the next 10 Nintendo consoles will be called at this point, just adding numbers to the lucrative Switch concept Playstation style, lol.

Sony threateningly in the corner: "and call it a redemption arc, it'll really help our narrative. 🔫"

If they ever make a new Sailor Moon anime after Crystal in the future, I'd kinda want them to go back to the older anime designs, and do it up like the new Ghost in the Shell anime which looks "retro" while still being HD. Bonus points if they'd add in the "pink filter" but on purpose this time, lol

Oftentimes I'll hear characters in TV or movies I like and make a mental note of them for if I ever need to do a casting call for my OCs, so I can point to those voices and be like "anyone who kinda sorta sounds like this plz hit me up" lol

One manga/anime thing I've never been able to unsee once I noticed it is that you'll often have the nose depicted as a tiny dot while on that same character design, they'll have the most realistic ears ever put to paper, with every crease and fold in the ear drawn instead of a simplistic ear, lol
