Possession (1981) was crazy, one of the most taxing viewing experiences I've had yet (positive) The body language and yelling while over the top felt like it hit that exact absurdity of real life breakdowns. The motion is unrelenting & it constantly pricks the smallest uncertainties in your skin.

Finally watched RRR for the first time recently and still thinking about it... It was so earnest and maximalist I felt like punching a wall for an hour after. Really fun time relishing in gorgonzola amounts of cheese and drama, some scenes were truly DMC cutscene level over the top

Creepshow (1982) was a good bit of fun. The stories themselves aren't anything too amazing (though they are good cheesy pulp and leslie nielsen goes a bit insane in one) but the 2d visuals they mix in throughout the movie are a ton of fun, it's hard to pick just a few.
