I had a friend the other day be like "oh, well should they have spent months learning that skill?" And I was like "uh, yea. Because that's how I learnt my high-end skills. Art/trade is hard, that is what makes it impressive."

This was intended to be a semi-quick project to take a break from an on-going one. I ended up learning some new stuff about making clouds, stars, and some extra compositing effects. Conveniently I already the dress made.

Yea, the fancy e-badge is china tech, but you could do this with a nice laminated print of a PFP, and even a basic 3D printer can do this kind of multi-colour with a bit of prep work. I'm lucky enough to have access to expensive toys, but this can be done with basic stuff too!

Anyway you can imagine, really. I'm probably going to add a loop to the back of this to attach a lanyard, but you could glue a metal strip on the back and use a magnet under clothing. The back has enough flat space to attach basically anything.

I've been seeing 3D-printed VRChat badges doing the rounds, so I thought I'd have a go at making one! Very happy for this being a couple hours work, if I can find the e-badges at bulk-price (only seeing single-qty prices on aliexpress) I can see myself ordering a bunch for making gifts to friends.

- I write my OCs as being "thirty-something" because that lets me bridge the gap and act young or old. Because sometimes I like being young and carefree, and sometimes I like being older and wiser.

I feel a large disconnect where I'm older than a lot of my friends, and I can meet people and characters young enough to be my child. It's appealing to present as younger to bridge that gap. But also I've got a generation of knowledge and experience over them and I like that-

Maybe a good start is trying to actually figure out what her size would be in 'real clothes'? Gives you something to start searching for in case there's some specialist plus-size shops that already have something close?
