I spent my career helping to build DHS during the Bush, Obama, and Trump years. We must abolish ICE. It’s lost all public trust. It must be eliminated. We can never again allow an agency to become the president’s “secret police.”

Not-fun fact: Trump decimated the DHS office that protects the U.S. from bio threats, like Russia's plague incident. Hundreds of staff from the "Office of Countering WMD" have been pushed out, fired, or reassigned in Trump 2.0. He's playing roulette with our lives.

Fun fact: the U.S. House can sue a sitting president with a simple majority vote. If the Democrats retake the chamber, they should do more than just "investigate" Trump's corruption. They should sue him in federal court for the illegal ballroom, Qatari jet, and more.

The outlets Trump just banned from the White House… Exposed damning details about his coverup of the Epstein files (CNN) Exposed his use of FBI & Secret Service to spy on critics (MSNOW) Exposed his illegal detention of thousands (Politico) This is full-blown censorship.

The entire White House press pool should protest Trump’s decision to kick out certain reporters by refusing — in solidarity — to leave the building tonight. It’s the People’s house, not his. We have a right to know what’s going on there.

Trump just said he's kicking CNN, MSNOW, and Politico out of the White House. I was there the day he ejected CNN's Jim Acosta in 2018... Trump's staff gloated... then I watched a federal judge body slam the WH and order Jim's pass restored. The First Amendment will prevail.

I cornered GOP Chairman James Comer on Capitol Hill. He told me he's "very concerned" about Trump's son taking wedding money from a Russian oligarch. Even Trump's own congressional leaders can't defend this stuff anymore.

The Supreme Court blocked Trump’s illegal scheme to snatch your ballots out of the mail. For a guy who hates losing, he sure does it a lot.

We built a sprawling machine to protect Americans after 9/11. I gave most of my life and career to that effort. Today, we have a president who has turned that machine against us.

The Supreme Court's decision to let Trump build his ballroom is worse than you think. They've opened the door to new kinds of presidential lawbreaking. Trump's own lawyers say he can bulldoze the Statue of Liberty if he wants. We have a high court of cowards.

To prosecute Trump, Democrats should make Pete Buttigieg the next Speaker of the House. Nothing in the Constitution requires the Speaker to be an elected member of Congress. If Democrats take back control, they should bring a bulldog into the job.
