I addressed that in this thread. Alcohol use disorder is another illness. People often self-medicate. Removing stigma and shame are important but what society really needs is effective prevention strategies. When stigma/ access prevent access to education/ intervention many turn to alcohol/ drugs.

She appears to need more help to navigate her life. She can probably afford it, regular folks typically can't. My focus remains on patient advocacy, education and not demonizing illness. Statistically there are people reading who are affected.

Now I agree with you. I changed my registration to independent and will only vote for candidates I believe in. I refuse to vote for republicans so there may be some races in which I don't vote. Centrists & establishment Ds are here for their own gain, not for the People.
