I'm trying to draw. These are in reverse order. The third is the one closest to the reference photo I took. Second was me trying to push, first was my attempt to get some life into the drawing and FEEL something. Drawing is still hard these days.

And thanks! It's very keen!

This has a very Thurber quality to it. Neat!

Thanks. Same for you.

I've never really had a 'sona, either. In some way, all my comic characters are me, and none of them are. I guess I'm missing out? But I never found one that felt entirely like -me-.

Orc season is coming to a close, locally. My husband snapped this one of me at the local Ren Fest today. This is my orc, Basher. #1 question, "Aren't you hot?" Answer: yes. :D

I like the jock but I guess it's up to the commissioner?

I really like the striped subway seats on this one. They're really evocative of the real thing while adding visual interest. I love subway images.

Never actually saw it myself.

Color versions with and without lines. I kind of like the one without lines but this wouldn't work in a comic.

As always happens when I start a new track on the comic, I have to decide the style. Sometimes I experiment way off track. Then I pull in, then press out again. Note the third drawing where I ran out of paper because I drew too big. Happens all the time.

Poll! Do you like to watch BAD movies? If so, why? Bonus: what's your favorite bad movie? Let us know!

This is a year's worth of work, at least on the comic. There were a bunch of portraits and other drawings as well. I'm just too slow, but this is the entirety of track 12 of "The City Silent." Looking at it like this, it does have that 'Vegas Show,' big loud graffiti feeling I wanted. That counts?

"The City Silent" page 285. One more page in the track. I've been working on this track for far too long...
