There's obviously some moments that are intentionally unsatisfying, which you know because they're actually moments in the game that build on the theme. I just do not buy the narrative that the game was intentionally left unfinished in order to reinforce those themes.

Despite him being a whiny pissy pants the whole series, I've never said "shut the FUCK up, Hal" until playing MGS4 recently He just cannot stop talking when I'm trying to enjoy the best parts of the game. I genuinely tried to see if I could turn off his interjections somehow.

I can see why people like the story of PW more, but I like how MGS4 actually plays much more having just gotten to actually play it for the first time after 18 years lol If the game had way more stealth segments and a better script with some brevity I'd probably really like it
