Cyclist, bike madness, rider, two wheel explorer and cycle fixer. Sometimes I get to walk a dog. Writes software. Studied economics. Vote for communists, get free stuff. Vote for Tories get robbed of societal structures.
The right answer, for drivers too, is always to take space away from drivers. My local bypass has 13 lanes (seen in the picture below) and is still congested multiple times every day. When it’s congested like this the traffic floods out to local residential streets. Pollution in homes and danger.
Security Council busy discussing his ending. 🤨
As a driver, I want physically separated lanes for bikes As a pedestrian, I want physically separated lanes for bikes Also as a cyclist, I want physically separated lanes for bikes
Rollback pilchard tin roof?
As long as it has the farmers AC system. Lift up flaps.

Thanks for raising this issue Caroline. Much appreciated. 🙌
Yes. Applied to where the harm and risk actually comes from. Evidence based regulation.

Same route. Different views.

Thinking about Harry Webbe’s family and friends as they process this latest post-crash news.
Geofencing and speed-limiting hired e-bikes is widely accepted, tech is developing fast, so should we apply the same danger reduction logic to driving cars?
Are 29000 KSIs a year reasonable or unreasonable?
Our govs hard limit e-bikes to 25kph. And city bike schemes are geofenced so that the power cuts when they leave the hire zone. If we can do this for 20kg bikes, why not for 1500kg motor vehicles?
We could choose to speed limit and geo fence vehicles in our cities, but our govs choose not to. Think about why that is?
Side fell off.
