Yeah, those graphs about certain types of social media content falling off a cliff are more meaningful IMO. Aggressive crawlers are annoying for site owners because they can run up your hosting bill for no benefit, but they don't usually post anything.

I think I have literally never announced it; I just try to exist in contexts where it's either assumed or irrelevant. 😅

Idea: New federal court specifically for suing the executive branch. All sovereign immunity waived. Any individual member of Congress has standing to file. Prosecutors work for a legislative agency, not the DoJ.

Writing a story is hard partly because it requires making an engaging (or at least convincing) presentation of what is going on and why it matters, that many other people can understand.

Please get competent editors. I don't mean copy editors (although those are also good), I mean people who will read your stuff and tell what is good and what is garbage that only makes sense to you.
