I'm sure the Kremlin was delighted we voted to leave the EU, but I also think it's passing the buck to blame it on Russian interference. Russia's role in Brexit was tiny compared to that of unscrupulous hedgies, ambitious politicians and decades of lies from right wing newspapers.
George Galloway being a piece of shit as always. He wants to see Ukraine and Ukrainians wiped off the map.
A lot of businesses are sole traders and partnerships. Now do the % of people who work in a business that trades internationally.
Labour lost touch with the Red Wall and the white working class a long time ago. Brexit did not come out of the blue. As soon as the referendum was announced I thought "yeah it's done". I was amazed that Remain managed to get 48%.
We’ve been talking about this for years. None of these far-right movements are organic.
I agree.
Westminster is sovereign. All power lies in Westminster.
The biggest hurdles the UK have are: 1) Condensed power of Westminster 2) Significant elements of the UK are resistant to change 3) FPTP 4) Right wing media who will lose power if the UK embraces Europe Those are more damaging to the UK than the euro or Schengen will ever be.
The case for Schengen is it is a passport free zone. Somehow this works for Iceland so there is no excuse for the UK.
The deal was never about getting diesel into America. It was about getting cash into Russia and keeping Epstein off the front pages.
They theobro’d so hard they made Coach break character.
Every individual Brexiter is on their own part of the Brexiter spectrum.
So he had nothing to do with Paypal either.
It’s not Ukraine that needs a new President. It’s the United States.
Monstrous pieces of sh%t will be outraged by you comparing them to Trump.
Sunderland once built ships (interesting story with Tories and old EC), dug coal and made glass (Sunderland is trying to stop the demolition of the National Glass Centre there). It had a brewery there too (Vaux). Happens all over. Capitalism just looking to increase profits.
That's an insult to sh*t.
There is a large amount of Brexit voters who simply cannot admit they are wrong. They hear fallacies from the right wing media, which may shrivel and die if Brexit is overturned, so they and their readers cling onto that.
The 2014 Scottish independence ref was as a disaster. Getting 5+ million people out of the clutches of Westminster, FPTP and the English right wing press was always going to be a good thing.
