What a long strange trip it’s been to end up in the PNW from Indy. And I’m still rocking down the highway. *Won’t reply to DMs unless I know ya’

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it."

Remembering my dear friend John Prine, on what would have been his 80th birthday this Saturday. I miss him deeply, as all of us who love him do. What a gift he will always be.

Mini Review: Found Dogs - John Prine Danny Schmidt has the line, " ... there’s a hole where John Prine still belongs." Like many post death releases "Found Dogs includes different takes of old songs and 4 new ones. It fills some of the hole Prine left. Grade: It's John F**king Prine. Always good.

Tomorrow, Oct. 10, would have been John Prine’s 80th birthday. Yesterday, dozens of musicians, including Jeff Tweedy, Ratboys, Margo Price, Steve Earle and more, gathered at the Chicago Theatre to celebrate his life and legacy.

John Prine would have turned 80 this week. He survived cancer, twice, only to be taken from us too soon anyway, due to complications from all things…COVID-19. Remember COVID? Fuck this shitty timeline, and fuck the people who made it worse. Prine was born in Maywood, Illinois, not too...

Ladies I am all about self-love, self-worth & freedom of expression. But if you need to do this to your face to feel pretty or loved, seek counseling. This is NOT pretty. Once you start fillers, plastic surgery or Botox, it becomes habitual. Proud to say I've NEVER done any of it.

In my opinion, that is what living with narcissists and abusers does to you—especially if you are naturally vulnerable: you lose yourself and your sense of self-worth, and at a certain point, you no longer know what is true, what is real, and what isn’t. I've seen it before and experienced it myself
