The pitch change really gets me.
Thank you, Andrew. Your support with this (and even my earlier work) was, and still is, so appreciated. I was flattered to be asked to do the Affinity compilation and enjoyed it immensely. Lovely to be joined by so many great artists, too. Thanks for the opportunity, and thanks for being there!β€οΈ
π In fact, they were never really on my radar, but since your comment I've been dipping into their stuff!
Thank you so much for your support , Marie Rose πβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ
Thanks Guinea Dropper. Your support still means a lot. (To be honest, the Cocteau Twins reference originally came from someone else, but I was flattered to have someone make the comparison.)
Mike, that's amazing to hear. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm can't tell you how glad I am that you're getting your art out I to the world. Thank you πβ€οΈπβ€οΈπ
Proceeds from all sales of the composition "OnePointFive > Two" (a longform piece on global govt climate change inaction) go to Greenpeace
Sales to date have been rounded-up and donated to @greenpeaceuk.bsky.social
Thank you to all who generously supported the music & the fight for our planetπππ
I'll always be grateful to everyone who listened and supported the work, and was flattered by the response to it, including some lovely online and print reviews at the time. Not gonna lie, finding time & ideas for a follow up hasn't been easy, but I hope to get some more music out there one day.
I'm told that my first proper album "The Yellow Knife" is two years old todayπππ
My aim was to compose an album built around many of the sounds, textures & styles I love as a music fan and it's the work I'm most proud of.
Derek comes up with some real all-time classics, but this post might just be his finest yet
New working paper: the Norwegian wealth tax was a huge success. The "exodus" of wealthy people never happened (less than 100 individuals left). Tax revenue increased by 71.5%. No changes in business activity or investment.
Yep. Zack Polanski's Greens polled second with more than twice as many votes (8,928) as Conservatives, Reform & Restore combined (4,226) Centre & Left votes = 22,144 Right & far right votes = 4,226 Chris Mason is no journalist. He's a biased mouthpiece creating propaganda for a right wing agenda
GLR today looks very different from the old "back entrance through the pigeon lined archway on Marylebone High Street" days
My aunt and gran both worked in this building. I remember going inside on a few occasions when i was young.
Been trying to find the clip c2019 election in which he interviewed two Bishop Auckland(?) constituents who spent a couple of minutes saying they're planning to vote Tory for first time, complaining Labour had let them down over the last decade. Not once did CM point out it was the Tories in govt.
BBC Chris Mason once again spinning election results the way only Chris Mason can. CM: Questions must be asked about the future of the left... Also CM: Oh and Reform came fourth but only because there was another party on the far right with a similar name
The pro-life lot.
Starting to think Richard E Grant has no idea what The Traitors game actually is
