the obsession with whether or not fans of a thing are "larpers" is an illness. exact kind of lame gatekeeping bullshit as the guy who'd see a girl in a band shirt and go "name five of their albums" or the comic book guy who has to prove he knows more about batman than you, but for a new generation

459.) KoRn - Life Is Peachy The band's heaviest and most chaotic record. Almost improvisational at time. This might not be to everyone's tastes, especially to non-nu metal fans. But I think the highs outnumber the lows on this album. Happy 30th!

🔪 Seth, don't wet your face with cry!! 🔪 I think it's good that you're "cringe". 📖 Y... you do? 🔪 It makes me want to throw rocks at you, which is fun!

DONT PUT THIS ON THE PS HOME BUTTON POP UP I JUMPED

Got video out on Patreon. Time to feast on chicken nuggets and Invader Zim. I've earned it!

458.) Electric Light Orchestra - A New World Record 70s pop never sounded better. 'Nuff said!

457.) Anita Baker - Giving You the Best That I Got Not as good as Rapture but hell what even is? Anita is still soulfully singing catchy hooks over the kind of late 80s production I like so I still dig it.

I'm nearing the end of it and it sucks how it got cancelled right when its world and setting was really beginning to open up. It's like if Adventure Time ended after "Death in Bloom."

I was right to call this cartoon one of the most important works of art of the 00s.

its always a good time to post this

Recently found a lobby card for one of my VERY favorite cartoons that I've been hunting for YEARS... buuuut the quality left a lot to be desired, so I cleaned it up/interpreted it to ogle at it with maximum efficiency.

a lot of posts on this site read like this to me

Seeing posts from people saying that Character Ai gave them emotional support is depressing, it's an entire ecosystem built on taking advantage of the vulnerable and lonely. The fact that it wasn't profitable is reassuring.

Love how there's a jab against those specific kinds of "rock music history" clickbait channels that really is just someone either reading off the Wikipedia article or flagrantly plagiarizing an episode of Vh1's Behind the Music.

Forty-five years ago today, on October 14, 1981, the very first episode of Urusei Yatsura goes on the air launching the timeless classic.

One metal magazine of the 90s actually coined the phrase "Hetfield Effect" to describe the tendency of rockers to switch from "anti-war / anti-establishment" to "patriotic / conservative" pretty much the second they passed draft age

I'm planning on an Ideon watch next month myself. That's been on my watchlist for a long time.
