well that is that for the 2026 summer. England win by 223 runs. Lot to reflect on from what has been a very odd summer in many ways. I have covered 80 days of live cricket across Eng men and women, county champ, Blast, Hundred, tour matches, one day cup and charity stuff.

Although, as we know, cricket never stops. At any time of day or night any day of the year, someone somewhere in the world is playing some variety of international or franchise cricket.

Plus another 20 or so preview days or press conferences and a good few other days of random stuff and the rest of the time has been tip tapping away from home or other places. Started champo on April 4th finished the season 27th September.
