yes! I am the language police! and you have to listen to everything I say, no matter how capricious or fanciful

I think about that line all the time

taking away whimsy/whimsical until everyone stops using those words in a way that annoys me personally

Just a reminder that when you boycott publishers because you are mad at them it primarily punishes the people who are published with them and has little impact on their bottom line. (This does not apply in union contexts where workers are asking people to not cross a picket.)
