What can you say? This was the definite winner they will never top. Also one of the best things I've seen at any PRGE

Playdate! 🤓
I’m so impressed by the level of detail on the 3D-printed mini-Playstacean.
Day 3 PRGE haul!! Today’s haul was all about deals… And a crab! One vendor sold me Final Vendetta LE and Wonder Boy Returns CE for $20 each (“make me a stupid offer, I’ll accept it”). Excited to finally get Osu! Tatakae! Oendan! and the lenticular CIB Pac Man 2, plus… A mini Plastacean! 🦀
I couldn’t resist a 🦀 especially at the discounted price today!
As it turns out, BSKY friends make pretty darn good IRL friends too! 🤓
(In case you were dying to know, it was still there today.)
I have all the players guides that counted as NP issues! I’ve got a bunch of other Nintendo-published guides as well. I supposed I’d like to get the Nintendo Fun Club issues some day, but they were pretty expensive last time I checked and that was years ago…
I agree as far as common games go, there are probably enough copies to satisfy anyone interested in collecting but I would bet *genuinely* rare titles, and sealed PSA 10 crap, will keep increasing in value for as long as Nintendo is relevant. Thankfully most of us have zero interest in that stuff.
Two different issues! The last ones I needed for a full set (not including variants, etc)
I did it. NP complete ✅
I’m happy to report that Street Pass is working now! 🤓
Mighty Morphin Power Walker Texas Rangers
The only way to justify it is to consider the price has quadrupled in the last 10 or so years and may continue to do so. Personally, I’ve never had an interest in collecting games as an investment, and I think the people who do are largely responsible for driving prices up this decade.
I just picked up a CIB SNES Aero for $30 today! There are lots of deals and bargains if you take the time to look! There are plenty of common loose titles and if you buy more than one game, most vendors will make you a deal.
Rught?? I’m good, there are SO many other ways I’d rather spend $200K on gaming-related items if I could. Although looking at it strictly as an investment, it’s probably a savvy one.
Oh, that’s sick! A personalized certificate you earned is cooler than a cartridge anyway.
And a gold NWC with a *missing label* sold for $200K a couple years ago…
Yeah… I remember seeing them ten years ago for $1,200 or so and thinking that was nuts. People must be either buying it to complete a set or as an investment, speculating it’ll continue increasing in value.
I’ll have to check the grades, but the NWC cart is probably worth at least $80K, and the Stadium Events are likely $20K (loose) and $40K (CIB) 👀
