I describe it like a record played at the wrong speed, as if my molecules are spinning clockwise at 33 & 1/3 rpm but the world and everything else is spinning counterclockwise at either 45 or 78 rpm, depending on how bad the attack is. And FML. Of course I'm all out of my prescription for it.

I've dealt with recurring bouts of vertigo since 1996. In a typical year, I will spend about 6-12 weeks of it off balance & the world gets all spinny. I woke today feeling like I'm about to get hit by a really bad vertigo attack. I really hope it passes because this isn't a good week for it.

You and me both

Imagine being told at an emergency room "We're sorry sir, but your insurance won't let us treat your heart attack because you had another heart attack 4 years ago that they paid to treat." I do hope you can appeal this horrible decision.

Original issues, Absolute edition and the box set

That's a rough start. Hope you day gets infinitely better soon!

Even when 9/11 happened, I remember some supposed Christians claiming it was God's punishment on NYC for "being so wicked" initially.

I just backed Panelverse! This is the 2nd project of Dan's that I've backed, and I've liked everything that I've read from him. (Plus if you go to his KS, you'll see the wonderful Huntress image he drew for me for his last one!)

Just talked with Mom, and she's getting a new home health nurse starting this afternoon. Apparently, the one who sent her to the ER last week asked to be reassigned. That's probably for the best. I'm not sure how much I could trust her opinion after last week.

Hope it is a great trip!

I haven't practiced law in years, and truth be told, I only got a B in con law at law school. That said, this screams blatant 1st Amendment violation to me, since the station/personnel could be punished for violating it. Would someone smarter than me please explain how this law is constitutional?

Threats of retaliation, including disciplinary action against any people violating the law and potential loss of funding to the station itself, which is a public radio station attached to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. What else would you call that?

An oldie but a goodie

That sounds like a very good day!

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Same here in NE Alabama too.
